FAQ
Questions people ask before they get in touch.
Straight answers on discovery sprints, ownership, compliance, pricing and timelines. If yours is not here, ask us directly.
What is a discovery sprint?
One to two weeks with your team that ends in a blueprint: architecture, integrations, release plan and estimate. It is the first step for anything new.
Do we have to build with you after the sprint?
No. The blueprint is yours. Build it with us, with your own team or with someone else.
Do you only work with financial businesses?
It is where we do our best work, but it is not a rule. If we are not the right fit, we say so on the first call.
Who owns the code, the cloud accounts and the data?
You do. Repositories, cloud accounts and vendor contracts are in your name from day one, and you keep everything when we finish.
Do you also do marketing?
Yes. Websites, search, analytics and campaigns are our Grow capability, built and run by the same engineers as your product.
Which technologies do you use?
TypeScript, Node.js, React and Next.js, PostgreSQL, Python for data work, and AWS or the cloud you already use. Mainstream tools your team can hire for.
Can you take over an existing platform or codebase?
Yes. A short discovery sprint tells you what state it is in. Then we take over access and keep it running while we improve it.
How do you work with our compliance team?
Review time is in every plan and approvals are logged. We ask early, build what they can sign off, and keep the records.
Are you a regulated firm or a compliance consultancy?
No. FinHub Digital Ltd is a software development and IT consultancy. Legal and regulatory advice comes from your own advisers.
How do you charge?
A fixed price for a sprint or a release, a monthly fee for a dedicated team, or fixed sessions for a fractional CTO. Always scoped in writing first.
How quickly can you start?
It depends on current commitments. You get an honest start date on the first call, and a discovery sprint needs less lead time than a build.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Send yours or ask for ours.
How do you work with clients?
Remotely, with clients across [e.g. UK and Europe]. Scheduled calls, fortnightly demos, in person when useful.
What happens after I send the form?
A person reads it and replies within two working days. If it is a fit, we suggest a short call and, usually, a discovery sprint.
